The 2005.2 BMW navigation dvd is designed for the more modern in-dash dvd navigation systems. It uses the DVD-CCC format. It is designed to work with the in-dash systems, so I don’t think it will work with the in-trunk dvd systems that were used in earlier models. If you are unsure which model of vehicle this disc will work for, please check with your local BMW dealer.

This disc should work for the following vehicles/models with factory installed navigation system:

• 2003-2004 M3 & M5
• 2003-up 7-series e65/e66 (Some 2002 Models that have DVD Nav)
• 2003-2004 5-series e39
• 2003-2005 3-series e46
• 2004-up X3 e83
• 2003-2006 X5 e53
• 2003-up Z4 e85/e86
• 2000-2003 Z8 e52

It is possible that this disc could worth with other BMW years or models, but we can make no guarantees about that one way or another.
